Description
Nikki Hanada is a supporting character in Dr. Stone: Science Future, a modern-day survivor who was originally revived by Tsukasa Shishio but later defects to join the Kingdom of Science. She is a tall young woman with an athletic and curvy figure, blonde hair tied into two ponytails, and green eyes. Her background includes a difficult school life where she was bullied for her large build and comparatively masculine appearance; the music of her idol, Lillian Weinberg, provided emotional refuge and helped her endure that period. In her pre-petrification life, she was a dedicated judo practitioner, recruited because of her physique, and trained intensely every day. Her underclassmen referred to her as Boss. Her immense physical strength, honed through judo, makes her a formidable member of the Kingdom of Science, where she serves as part of the Power Team and also takes on an unofficial role as a disciplinarian, keeping impulsive or aggressive members like Magma and Yo in line through sheer force when necessary. Her deep devotion to Lillian Weinberg is the primary motivation that prompts her to switch sides: when she learns that the only surviving copy of Lillian's song is in Senku's possession, she pledges her loyalty to the Kingdom of Science to protect it. This act of loyalty reflects her principled and heartfelt nature. Throughout the series, Nikki develops from a soldier in Tsukasa's empire into a reliable and steadfast ally of Senku's group, contributing her physical prowess to various construction and combat efforts. Beyond her raw strength, she possesses exceptional auditory discrimination, able to detect subtle differences in accent, tone, and vocal expression, a skill that proves valuable in certain situations. After the major conflicts of the stone world are resolved, Nikki returns to her university studies, resuming her education in the rebuilt civilized world. Her character is defined by a blend of formidable physical ability, a strong sense of justice, and a deep emotional connection to the music that once saved her.
