Carmen Calvell is a Spanish voice actress known for her extensive work dubbing anime and other animated series into Spanish, particularly in the Barcelona area. She began her career in the early 1990s and quickly became a prominent figure in the industry, specializing in animation voice-over. Over the decades, she has demonstrated a wide vocal range, successfully portraying a diverse array of characters, from energetic young girls and worldly women to more stoic or heroic figures. A notable aspect of her career is her long-standing professional relationship with fellow voice actresses Carmen Ambros and María Rosa Guillén. The trio debuted together in the Spanish dub of the live-action series Red Dwarf in 1989 and have since frequently appeared in countless anime series together, often playing friends or rivals.
