Description
Leaf is a half-elf who was born in the region of Kanon to a human mother and an elven father from the forests of Kanon. Both of her parents were adventurers who fell deeply in love and settled down in the village of Karall to raise their daughter. However, early in her childhood, her father was killed by dark elves. After this tragedy, her mother sought revenge and sent Leaf to live with her aunt. As a half-elf, Leaf faces prejudice from both full-blooded elves and humans, which makes her life difficult and fosters a sense of isolation. She is a young woman with short red hair and brown eyes, and her elven heritage is visible in her pointed ears.

Leaf's early life was marked by loss and a struggle to find her place in the world. She first encountered the high elf Deedlit during the first war against Marmo, when Leaf's home village was evacuated. This meeting left a profound impression, and Leaf came to idolize Deedlit, looking up to her as a heroic figure. This admiration shapes Leaf's motivation to become a capable fighter and to eventually join the ongoing conflict in Lodoss. She later becomes a mercenary, serving as a partner to the axe-wielding warrior Garrack. In this role, she becomes part of the company led by the young warrior Spark, a new generation of heroes who take up the fight against the dark forces of Marmo.

Leaf is a skilled fighter who wields a spear with proficiency. Like a full-blooded elf, she is also capable of using spirit magic, a form of shamanistic magic that grants her additional abilities beyond physical combat. Her half-elf nature grants her a longer lifespan than ordinary humans, a fact that adds to her sense of being set apart from those around her. Throughout the story, Leaf's relationships with her companions, particularly Garrack and the rest of Spark's group, help her overcome her initial loneliness and prove her worth as a loyal and capable ally. She develops a strong sense of duty and courage, steadily maturing as she faces the dangers of the war. Her devotion to Deedlit remains a driving force, but she also forges her own identity as a warrior and a member of the new heroic generation. Leaf's role in the narrative is that of a steadfast mercenary who supports the main protagonists, using her spear and spirit magic in battles against the forces of darkness while growing from a troubled half-elf into a confident and reliable fighter.
