Description
Genji Takiya, the rebellious son of a powerful yakuza boss, is given an ultimatum: conquer the notoriously unruly Suzuran All-Boys High School, or forfeit his inheritance. Known as the "School of Crows" for its uniformed students who operate like a lawless flock, Suzuran has never been unified under a single leader, a challenge that proves irresistible to the headstrong Genji. The school is a boiling cauldron of teenage delinquents, each vying for control through brute force and shifting alliances.
Upon his arrival, Genji immediately sets his sights on Tamao Serizawa, the charismatic and feared leader of the school's dominant faction. However, he learns that a direct challenge is not so simple; he must first fight his way through a hierarchy of other formidable fighters to earn the right to face Serizawa. In his initial brawls, Genji defeats Ken Katagiri, a former Suzuran student now a low-level yakuza thug. Impressed by Genji's strength and ambition, Ken becomes his mentor and strategist, guiding him through the complex web of rivalries within the school.
As Genji battles and slowly gains respect, he builds his own faction, drawing in powerful allies like the wild and unpredictable Izaki brothers. His path to the top is blocked not only by Serizawa and his loyal lieutenants, including the hulking Hiromi Kirishima, but also by a former friend, Tokio Tatsukawa, whose betrayal adds a personal dimension to the power struggle. The tension escalates into an all-out turf war, forcing every faction within Suzuran to pick a side. The conflict culminates in a massive, rain-soaked brawl in an abandoned factory, where Genji and Serizawa finally face each other. The film ends with a battered but triumphant Genji standing victorious, only to realize that even after conquering the school, the empty throne of Suzuran may not be his to claim, as the spirit of the Crows is to fight forever without a single king.
