Steve Kramer is an American actor with a career spanning over four decades, recognized primarily for his extensive voice work in English-language adaptations of Japanese anime, as well as his contributions as a voice director and scriptwriter. He was born on December 24, 1950, in San Juan Capistrano, California. Throughout his career, he has also been credited under various pseudonyms, including Steve Kraemer, Steven Kramer, Drew Levi Thomas, Drew Lexi Thomas, and Drew Thomas.

Kramer's involvement in dubbing foreign productions began in the early 1980s. He became associated with pioneering localization studios like Streamline Pictures, contributing to some of the earliest English dubs of Japanese anime for Western audiences. His work on influential films such as the 1988 Streamline dub of the cyberpunk classic Akira and the adaptation of the series Robotech helped establish his presence in the industry. Over the years, he has built a prolific career, lending his voice to hundreds of characters across anime series, films, and video games. He is frequently cast in roles that portray wise mentors, elders, and authoritative figures.

Among his most prominent and long-running anime roles are Captain Shunsui Kyōraku in the long-running series Bleach and its subsequent films, including Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. He is also widely known for voicing the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, in both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. His filmography includes a vast array of other significant credits, such as Axel Thurston in Eureka 7, Kariya Kagetoki in Samurai Champloo, Whitney Matsumoto in Cowboy Bebop, Wiseman in the Viz Media dubs of Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Crystal, and Cyborg 006 (Chang Changku) in Cyborg 009 The Cyborg Soldier.
