Description
Ki-Kima, a reptilian-featured waterkin merchant from Vision, stands 2.58 meters tall with black eyes and no conventional hair. Sharing the common waterkin name "Keema," he uses the prefix "Kee" for distinction. His grandfather's belief that Travelers bring fortune, stemming from wealth gained by aiding one decades earlier, fuels Ki-Kima's enthusiasm upon meeting them.

He first encounters the human Traveler Wataru Mitani in a baquas grove. Recognizing Wataru instantly, Ki-Kima volunteers as his primary guide. Though he dropped out of school young, his practical knowledge suffices. He exhibits pride in his darbaba beast of burden, Turbo, reflecting his occupation as a "Darbaba Charmer" specializing in oxen-like creatures. Professionally, he transports goods along trade routes, such as to Gatara commerce hub. His darbaba carrier once nearly collided with Yuno in Sakawa.

Gregarious, optimistic, and talkative, Ki-Kima displays unwavering loyalty. He forms a surrogate familial bond with Wataru, reminiscent of Wataru's Uncle Lou, and rescues him from mechanical wolf-like pursuers during their travels.

In "Brave Story: New Traveler," Ki-Kima assists his closest friend, Sogreth, in locating Sogreth's missing son, Minos. Furious Sogreth attempted this alone, Ki-Kima joins Tatsuya and Meena to rescue them from Seaside Cave. After the mission, he departs to fulfill a prior delivery commitment. Later, when Sogreth and Yuno face false banditry accusations at the Bog-Sasaya Border, Ki-Kima intervenes, urging the Knights of Stengel to arrest him and Meena to expose the inconsistency. He remains at the border monitoring developments until the true culprits are captured, securing his friends' exoneration.
