TV Special
Description
The Elder presides as leader of the season fairies, commanding weather creation and supervising apprentice fairies Sugar, Salt, and Pepper. His appearance is consistent: a long white robe, a red cape with yellow accents, a matching red hat, pointed elf-like shoes, fluffy white hair, and black eyes.

As the wisest fairy, he holds deep knowledge of season fairy duties and apprentice training. However, his personality shifts dramatically in romantic pursuits. He develops a persistent, unrequited infatuation with Ginger, an adult rain fairy. This obsession sparks foolish and unconventional behavior, manifesting as inappropriate weather phenomena designed to impress her. For instance, he conjures morning rain solely for Ginger's attention, though she remains unimpressed and questions his presence in the human world. Jealousy surfaces when he suspects Ginger favors Turmeric, a cloud fairy.

Within the main series, he arrives in Muhlenberg around episode 4 to inspect the apprentices' progress. His actions frequently disrupt both human and fairy dynamics. When scolding Sugar for tardiness, his reprimand inadvertently triggers an argument between Sugar and Saga. Later, cryptically hinting to the apprentices that Saga is key to finding "Twinkles," he confuses the fairies and frustrates Saga. Despite his comedic pursuit of Ginger, he maintains core responsibilities like guiding apprentices and monitoring their magical flowers.

The two-episode OVA (Summer Special) centers on a 15-year-old Saga recalling a school play four years after the main series. The Elder has no documented presence or involvement in these OVA events. Beyond the main series and OVA, no other official media, such as movies or spin-offs, features or expands his character. Details about his origins, prior relationships, or development outside his established role and comedic subplot with Ginger are unavailable.
