Lea is a High Elf who serves as the leader of her people in the anime Farming Life in Another World. Her tribe was devastated by war, with the males being sent away to other tribes, leaving Lea and the other female High Elves to fend for themselves. For many years, she led a group of female High Elves as they wandered the world, struggling to survive and facing the risk of being mistreated by other tribes. Lea's situation changed when she befriended Tia, an angel. Tia, needing help with the newly formed farm and not wanting to work alone, brought the High Elves to Hiraku's farm located in the Forest of Death. Unbeknownst to Hiraku, Tia secretly offered him as breeding stock to help repopulate the High Elf race. After arriving, Lea became the leader of the High Elves on the farm, which over time grew into Taiju Village as more High Elves and members of other races joined. Lea's primary motivation is the survival and continuation of her race, and she takes her role as their representative seriously. She develops a key relationship with Tia, who acts as a bridge between the High Elves and Hiraku, and she forms a cooperative bond with Hiraku himself as the village expands. Her character grows from a wary wanderer into a settled community leader who helps build a thriving, diverse settlement. As a High Elf, Lea possesses the long lifespan and inherent magical affinity common to her kind, though her most notable ability is her leadership and the respect she commands among her fellow elves.
