Description
Nonoka Komiya is the main protagonist of the anime Celestial Method, a teenage girl who returns to her childhood hometown of Lake Kiriya after living away for seven years. She moves back with her father, Shuichi Komiya, following the death of her mother, Kaori Komiya, from illness. Upon her return, Nonoka discovers that a large flying saucer now hovers above the town, a phenomenon that most residents seem to ignore. She soon encounters a mysterious blue-haired girl named Noel, who claims to have been waiting for her and who reveals that they met long ago. Nonoka initially struggles to remember the past, but through her interactions with Noel and her former friends, she gradually recovers the memories of the day she and her childhood companions attempted to summon a flying saucer to grant their wishes—a wish that inadvertently brought Noel into being as the saucer itself.
