TV-Series
Description
Mem-Mem, the Energy Fairy of Noodles from CooKingdom, bears the full name Membernu Churuchurutto Kurukururin Glutamine Memdragon. He takes the form of a dragon with yellow skin, orange horns, a dark orange collar featuring a white frilly layer, and a dark orange heart jewel at his center. To enable his human partner, Ran Hanamichi, to transform into Cure Yum-Yum, he assumes a "bowl form" when they combine forces. Following the series' conclusion, Mem-Mem permanently gains a human-like appearance resembling a teenage boy, retaining visible horns, ears, and a tail. This form features golden blonde hair, a light yellow shirt with elbow-length sleeves, orange shorts, red suspenders clipped with his jewel on the left strap, green shoes, and dark brown tube socks. A distinct "Children's Lunch Dress" variant adds dragon-like wings, gold spoon and fork earrings, a dark orange long-sleeved shirt with red and gold inserts, a white apron, scalloped shorts, reddish-brown gloves, and boots decorated with multicolored bowls.

Personality-wise, Mem-Mem displays a calm and rational nature, avoiding unnecessary fuss. He develops a strong bond with Ran, admiring her passion for food and consistently supporting her during challenges. He also acts as an older brother figure to fellow Energy Fairy Kome-Kome, offering comfort during her distress or self-doubt. His relationships extend to other Energy Fairies like Pam-Pam and Kome-Kome, involving playful interactions and collaborative efforts.

His history begins with arriving in Oishiina Town to search for the stolen Recipe-Bon. Ran first discovers him at her family's ramen shop, Panda Hut, after he is left behind. Trust is established when Ran shows no fear upon learning his true nature, allowing their hearts to resonate. This resonance empowers Mem-Mem to facilitate Ran's first transformation into Cure Yum-Yum to protect the Delicious Field. Key developments include comforting Kome-Kome during her struggles with self-confidence and power fluctuations, intervening in conflicts between fellow fairies, and volunteering to locate the missing Udon Recipepe. This latter effort drains his energy, temporarily weakening Cure Yum-Yum's abilities until their synchronized resolve enables them to restrain an enemy. A hidden past reveals that twenty years prior, alongside Pam-Pam and Ginger, he visited Oishiina Town to create a protective magical field, though his memories of this event were subsequently erased.

Mem-Mem's abilities include breathing fire offensively and performing "noodle fortune-telling" to detect noodle-based Recipepes by channeling energy through his jewel, a process that exacts significant physical cost. Initially unable to assume human form, he permanently acquires this capability after the final battle. In the epilogue, he relocates to CooKingdom to guard the Recipe-Bon but maintains periodic visits with Ran and the others.

Trivia notes include his birthday on November 11th, aligning with Noodle Day, and his distinction as the franchise's first dragon-based fairy. His partnership with Ran was designed to complement her Chinese-inspired motif and association with ramen.
