Description
Lara is a young farmer living with her mother and grandparents in a rural village. She first appears when she discovers León Luis floating unconscious along a riverbank after his failed suicide attempt. Her family takes him in, offering him food and shelter in exchange for help with farm work, and Lara forms a close bond with him during his stay. She is a kind-hearted and compassionate person, representing the simple, peaceful life that León briefly experiences away from his path of vengeance and violence. Her role in the story is that of a supportive figure who offers León a chance at normalcy and emotional connection. Her death at the hands of a Horror deeply affects León, pushing him to the brink of despair and nearly consuming him with a desire for revenge.
