Gallet Revolt is a Mauve, distinguished by purple blood and high intelligence, who experiences discrimination from Humans and Mazoku. Childhood harassment due to his heritage was mitigated by his father's comfort, until Gallet discovered his father murdered in an alleyway. This event caused lasting trauma and a phobia of blood, leading Gallet to suppress emotions to avoid appearing weak and instilling a belief that conflicts should be resolved through Battle Spirits, not violence. He is typically serious and reserved, contrasting with more cheerful protagonists, though he attempts to smile for those close to him, particularly the children of Vanilla he helps support.
In appearance, Gallet has red hair with pinkish highlights and green eyes. Initially, he wore a light purple hoodie under a black school uniform with red and white accents, grey pants, and brown shoes. Later, he adopted a long purple coat with a short white cloak and golden accessories, a plum-colored turtleneck, black sleeveless vest, grey pants, and black shoes – an outfit gifted by the White King. His battle form features a black undersuit with steel armor, a prominent purple cape (later transforming into a dark-red, flame-trimmed coat), and a Life Counter on his chest that changes from silver to gold.
Fleeing the Mauve Special Zone for Vanilla in search of a legendary card his father mentioned, Gallet cared for orphaned children there, using Battle Spirits matches to win food and supplies. After witnessing the murder of Lucian Parx and encountering Varte Parx, he joined a Mauve academy. He later clashed with Varte over Varte's advocacy for violent revolution, culminating in a card battle where Gallet prevailed. Departing to continue his father's quest for rare cards, Gallet was acknowledged as a Core Lightbearer by Vizarga during this journey.
