Description
Nguyen Van Huu served as a Free Planets Alliance rear admiral and commanded a squadron at the Alliance-occupied Iserlohn Fortress from the flagship *Maurya*.
He fought in the Eighth Battle of Iserlohn in early 798 UC. During this battle, his fleet joined Admiral Sandle Alarcon's forces in pursuing the retreating Imperial fleet under Neidhardt Müller. This pursuit led them directly into a trap sprung by Imperial High Admirals Oskar von Reuenthal and Wolfgang Mittermeyer.
The engagement resulted in the destruction of Huu's flagship, the *Maurya*, by forces under High Admiral Oskar von Reuenthal's direct command, causing Huu's death in action that same year. His demise occurred prior to Imperial Admiral Karl Gustav Kempff's critical decision to collide the Geiersburg Fortress with Iserlohn Fortress.
His name draws inspiration from Nguyễn Văn Thiệu, a historical Vietnamese military figure and later president, following Vietnamese naming conventions with the surname preceding the given name.
