Kitora is a character from the anime and manga series The World Is Still Beautiful. He is the cousin of the series' protagonist, Princess Nike Remercier. Because his parents died when he was young, Kitora was raised alongside Nike by the woman known as Tohara, and the two grew up as close as siblings.

Despite belonging to the Rain Dukedom's royal family, which is known for its ability to summon rain, Kitora cannot use this power. This inability shapes much of his early life and his deep admiration for Nike, who, under Tohara's guidance, mastered the ability to call the rain. He holds Nike in a state of near-worship because of her power and skill.

Prior to the main events of the story, Kitora was traveling through various countries with Tohara. As a result, he was not present in the Rain Dukedom when Nike departed to marry the Sun King, Livius, in the far-off Sun Kingdom. His absence from the duchy during this pivotal moment explains why he is not part of the initial journey.

Physically, he is depicted as a male teenager with brown eyes and hair that is a shade of green, cut to neck length. Different sources describe his hair color as either green or black, indicating a possible discrepancy or variation in artistic interpretation across different media. He is known to wear robes and boots, and his typical design shows only one of his eyes. He is the same age as the character Kara.
