Description
Chūtarō Kumo is the youngest of the three Kumo brothers, deeply admiring his older siblings, especially Tenka. He possesses no fighting skill, trusts others easily, and cries frequently. A small tanuki named Gerokichi is his constant companion.

His distinctive outfit includes a red and black hat made by Soramaru, a yellow beaded necklace, and a cropped haori bearing the "Kumo" kanji on the back, worn without a shirt. He pairs this with large pants secured by a gold or yellow rope around his waist.

He often adds "sir" when addressing his brothers or others. Chūtarō radiates pride in his siblings, diligently following their instructions. Energetic and enthusiastic, his demeanor carries a notable naivety. He believes people deserve second chances and can change their lives through genuine laughter. He also holds the unique conviction, instilled by Tenka, that "crap" (on a stick) possesses healing properties due to its hilarity.

He privately regards Tenka as "the only unique, true king of my world," and confided in Soramaru about Shirasu: "He was always there… ‘Welcome home, Chuutarou.’ I’m just not used to it... you know?".

Chūtarō's journey involved leaving the Kumo Shrine after learning Tenka was falsely accused as the Orochi’s vessel and seemingly died. Driven by vengeance, he aligned with Naoto Kagami. Discovering Tenka survived made him abandon his vengeful path. He later played a crucial role in the Orochi’s defeat, collaborating with Soramaru and Takeda to deliver the final blow.

Despite Shirasu Kinjō’s betrayal and involvement in their parents’ murder, Chūtarō’s earlier expressions of missing Shirasu’s presence hint at the complexity of their relationship, contrasting with Soramaru’s reaction.
