Terri Doty is an American voice actress, voice director, and ADR writer extensively involved in English dubs of Japanese anime, primarily for Funimation (now Crunchyroll) and Sentai Filmworks. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she began her career in the industry around 2008 after interning at Funimation Entertainment shortly before graduating college. Her early work included voicing her first character in Tsubasa: The Reservoir Chronicle and taking on roles in series such as Big Windup!, One Piece, and Romeo × Juliet.

Doty is known for her versatile performances across a wide range of characters. Her filmography includes significant roles such as Tsuki Uzaki in Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, Minare Koda in Wave, Listen to Me!, Moriko Morioka in Recovery of an MMO Junkie, and Kirara Hazama in the Assassination Classroom series. She also voices Virgo in the long-running Fairy Tail series and its sequel, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. Other notable credits include Kyoko Machi in Interviews with Monster Girls, Chutaro Kumo in Laughing Under the Clouds, Shiggy in Made in Abyss, Suphia in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Lucius in Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout.

Beyond acting, Doty has made substantial contributions behind the scenes as a voice director and scriptwriter. Her directorial credits include series such as Corpse Princess, Baka and Test, Rideback, and Rin ~ Daughters of Mnemosyne. She has also written script adaptations for anime, including Corpse Princess and Initial D: Fourth Stage. In 2010, she co-created and hosted the podcast That Anime Show with J. Michael Tatum and Stephen Hoff, which ran for 54 episodes. In 2019, she launched a new podcast, Obscure Chatter, which evolved from an interview format into a radio talk show.

Doty is also an author, having published a science fiction novel titled One of Few in 2017. Her work continues to span new anime productions, with roles in recent and upcoming series like A Condition Called Love, SHY, and The Beginning After the End.
