Description
Nonon Jakuzure holds a three-star rank as a member of Honnouji Academy's Elite Four, commanding non-athletic clubs like gardening, biology, rakugo, and the marching band. Petite in stature, she possesses distinctive pink hair and pink eyes, frequently adorning a skull-marked hat—a signature accessory replacing a childhood pet monkey that once perched on her head. Her appearance contrasts with many female characters through her smaller bust and medium hips.

Her personality masks a sweet, cute exterior with deeply caustic wit and arrogance. She readily mocks allies and opponents alike, exhibiting sardonic attitudes during confrontations. Among the Elite Four, she displays the most overt pride, particularly concerning her long-standing connection to Student Council President Satsuki Kiryūin, whom she has known since kindergarten. Nonon consistently emphasizes this history to assert perceived superiority over her peers. Despite her abrasive nature, she demonstrates genuine concern for comrades, notably showing distress when Ira Gamagōri appears to die.

Nonon's combat revolves around musical themes, primarily classical compositions. Her three-star Goku Uniform, the Symphony Regalia, manifests in multiple forms:
- **Grave**: A heart-shaped tank deploying woofers firing concussive bass waves and bladed musical notes.
- **Presto**: An airship transformation featuring recorder-shaped rockets, cymbal blades, and laser-like musical sheet beams.
- **Da Capo**: A drum-major uniform topped with a horned hat housing a sonic cannon that resonates with opponents' Life Fibers to immobilize and damage them.
Later upgrades include the **Symphony Regalia Mk.II**, a flight suit with rocket thrusters and sound-based weaponry, and the **Symphony Regalia: Finale**, a skimpy black-and-gold ensemble enabling flight and concentrated sonic beams. She also wields Bakuzan-Gako, a Life Fiber-cutting dagger forged from Bakuzan's remnants, which she later returns to Satsuki.

Initially an antagonist, Nonon clashes with protagonist Ryūko Matoi during Honnouji Academy conflicts. After initial defeats, she participates in the Tri-City Schools Raid, aiding in conquering Abekamo Academy. When Ragyō Kiryūin seizes control of the academy, Nonon and the Elite Four ally with resistance group Nudist Beach. She employs her Bakuzan-Gako to protect civilians from COVERS and fights in the final battle against Ragyō. Post-victory, she survives and retains her loyalty to Satsuki.

Nonon's relationships center on unwavering devotion to Satsuki Kiryūin, whom she deeply admires. She perceives herself as Satsuki's closest confidant, though Satsuki treats all Elite Four members equally. Nonon maintains a teasing, adversarial dynamic with colleagues, especially Uzu Sanageyama, whom she nicknames "monkey." Her interactions with Ryūko evolve from hostile rivalry to reluctant cooperation during the Life Fiber conflict.

Her development shifts from arrogance to tempered resilience. Following Satsuki's defeat by Ragyō and Honnouji's takeover, Nonon's confidence wanes, yet her commitment to Satsuki's cause endures. She adapts to guerrilla warfare with Nudist Beach, demonstrating courage despite diminished resources. A natural ability, "Nonon Sound Negation," emerges late in her arc, enabling her to deflect attacks using a dark sound barrier.
