Mayumi Shintani is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on November 6, 1975, in Hiroshima Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Nylon100°C and began her career in the entertainment industry in the 1990s. In addition to her voice work, she is also a member of a theatrical company, highlighting her foundation in live-action performance.
Shintani's voice acting career features a wide array of roles across anime series, films, and video games. Her debut anime role came in 1998 as Tsubasa Shibahime in the series His and Her Circumstances. Earlier in her career, she also voiced Daisy in the Guardian Hearts OVA series and Upah in the Pokémon special Pichu Bros. in Party Panic.

She is known to gamers as the voice of Ángel in The King of Fighters 2002 and its updated version, as well as Giovanna in the fighting game Guilty Gear -Strive-.
