TV-Series
Description
Miss Shamour is a fairy who lives inside the Princess Lesson Pad and comes from the Hope Kingdom. Her form resembles a Siamese cat with white fur, dark purple hair-like ears, blue eyes, and a red ribbon around her neck. She wields a staff topped with a cat's paw. Her human form maintains feline traits such as her tail, appearing as a tall woman with darker hair. She wears a purple-and-white jumpsuit, black boots, and a red bow.
She serves as a mentor to the Princess Pretty Cures, teaching them the etiquette and skills required to become true princesses or the Grand Princess. Her teaching style is serious, stern, yet patient, often incorporating English phrases like "Gokigenyou, everyone" and "Lesson Start." Outside formal lessons, she actively explores human culture to expand her knowledge.
Her background includes instructing Prince Kanata and Princess Towa in violin playing; she expressed sadness over Towa's long disappearance by calling her "La Petite Princess." She also mentors other fairies, such as Pafu and Aroma, administering tests for them to qualify as Prince Kanata's servants.
She guides Kuroro after his purification, helping him adapt to the human world. During a tour with him, she intervened in a cat dispute by organizing a fashion contest and later assisted the Cures in battling Zetsuborgs formed from the cats' dreams. In this episode, she dueled Shut, a Dys Dark member, emphasizing that princesses must inspire smiles. After the battle, she befriended Shut by improving his makeup skills and gifting him a scarf, demonstrating her willingness to teach anyone regardless of background.
Her abilities include instantaneously summoning lesson materials, transforming into a human form, and using "Lesson Fairy Power" to switch forms for other fairies or animals. She masters diverse skills like tea ceremony etiquette, flower arranging, dressmaking, violin playing, and makeup application. She demonstrates combat proficiency by fighting Shut defensively using her extendable staff.
Her name is noted as a portmanteau of the French words "chat" (cat) and "amour" (love), though alternative sources suggest it derives from "Chamois leather." She is the first mascot to inhabit a device like the Princess Lesson Pad and retains mascot features in human form, a trait shared with few others. She appears in the film *Pretty Cure All Stars F*.
