Description
Nonon Jakuzure is a central character who serves as the Non-Athletic Committee Chair at Honnouji Academy and a member of the Student Council's Elite Four, the group of powerful subordinates directly under Student Council President Satsuki Kiryuin. In this role, she oversees all non-athletic student organizations, including the gardening club, the biology club, the rakugo club, and the school's marching band. She is the only female member of the Elite Four.

As a child, Nonon met Satsuki Kiryuin through their families, who were acquainted through business connections with Satsuki's mother, Ragyo Kiryuin. This early bond formed the foundation of a deep and unwavering loyalty that defines much of Nonon's character. Nonon has known Satsuki the longest of all the Elite Four and considers their relationship special, viewing Satsuki as an unshakable leader worthy of absolute devotion. Her motivations are driven by this loyalty and a firm belief in the strict hierarchical structure of the academy, which she sees as a source of order and strength for the student body. She is deeply committed to upholding Satsuki's vision and maintaining discipline across the school.

In terms of personality, Nonon is confident and lively, with a sharp tongue and a somewhat arrogant demeanor that stems from her elite position. She is passionate about music, which directly shapes her identity and fighting style. She often displays a playful, sarcastic side, using nicknames and teasing banter with her fellow Elite Four members. She tends to look down on those she considers beneath her station, yet her confidence can border on theatrical, as she revels in the spectacle of her own ability.

As the final member of the Elite Four to face Ryuko Matoi during the Naturals Election, Nonon is a formidable combatant. Her combat power comes from her unique Three-Star Goku Uniform, the Symphony Regalia, which allows her to manipulate sound waves. She can produce sonic blasts, create barriers of hardened sound, and unleash wave attacks shaped like musical notes or even hearts. In battle, she synchronizes her attacks with musical rhythms, giving her fighting style a precise, artistic edge. Her uniform also grants her an airborne mode called Symphony Regalia Presto, which allows her to bombard opponents from the air with a combination of missiles and sound-based attacks. Her abilities are heavily reliant on her concentration and mental state, making her vulnerable to disruptions.

Her key relationships are defined by her connections to the other members of the Elite Four and to Ryuko Matoi. With Satsuki, she is the most devoted and understanding ally, often acting as the leader's closest confidante. With the other Elites, her relationship is comedically adversarial, marked by teasing and nicknames she refers to Sanageyama as monkey and Inumuta as dog, reflecting a playful rivalry that nonetheless gives way to seamless cooperation in battle. With Ryuko, she initially views the protagonist as a crude intruder and fights her with full intensity. However, as the conflict against Ragyo Kiryuin escalates, Nonon grudgingly acknowledges Ryuko's strength and joins forces with her in the final confrontation, their dynamic evolving from outright enmity to wary mutual respect.

Throughout the story, Nonon experiences notable development. While she begins as a strict enforcer of the academy's hierarchy, the events of the series, particularly the battles against larger threats and the complexities of her friendship with Satsuki, force her to reconsider her rigid worldview. She transitions from a loyal but unthinking subordinate into someone capable of questioning her own allegiances and fighting alongside former enemies for a greater cause.

Her notable abilities include her sound-wave manipulation for both offense and defense, her high-speed airborne combat mode, and her strategic mind, which she employs in battle with flair. She also commands a battery of missiles from her Goku Uniform, adding a layer of explosive power to her musical arsenal. Her appearance, often noted for her signature shako hat decorated with a skull, her pink hair, and stylish drum major-inspired uniform, visually communicates her role as a conductor of chaos and order, a living symbol of the academy's musical and disciplined culture.
