Description
Petz is a character from the Sailor Moon R storyline of the anime Sailor Moon, where she serves as one of the main antagonists of the Black Moon Clan arc. She is the eldest of the four Spectre Sisters, a group of female warriors who work under the command of Rubeus, and she is known as Prizma in some English versions. She has long dark green hair styled into an updo, dark green eyes, and wears an outfit of green and black with black fur on her shoulders, a black belt, long gloves, and black leggings. Like other members of her clan, she bears a black upside-down crescent moon on her forehead and wears black crystal earrings as symbols of her allegiance.
In terms of personality, Petz is proud, stubborn, short-tempered, and haughty. She is ambitious and willing to push others aside in order to achieve personal glory and power. He instructs her to use it to destroy both the Sailor Guardians and her former sisters, warning her that failure will mean she cannot return. The staff dramatically amplifies her magic, but it also corrupts her personality and makes her more aggressive, to the point where she turns on Calaveras and attempts to kill her along with the other sisters. However, the Sailor Guardians recover, knock the staff away, and restore Petz's normal level of power. Rubeus then reveals that he never expected her to succeed, and that his true plan was to lure the Sailor Guardians into a trap and sacrifice all four sisters. He activates the staff's full power, creating a massive time-vacuum that threatens to pull everyone into it. Freed from the staff's corrupting influence, Petz becomes remorseful and decides to throw herself into the vortex to destroy the staff and save everyone, but her sisters stop her. After the Sailor Guardians destroy the vortex, Petz and Calaveras are purified, meaning they are cleansed of their dark allegiance and allowed to live normal lives in 20th-century Tokyo.
