Description
Keiko Sanjō is a supporting character in the story and is known for being a childhood friend and classmate of the protagonist, Inari Fushimi. Her background reveals that she was born on June 18th. Physically, she has slate blue hair kept short in a boyish style, matching her eye color, and stands 161cm tall. During her elementary school years, Keiko practiced karate and possessed notable physical strength. Despite her abilities, she struggled socially, having few female friends and feeling a desire for closer female companionship. Her first meeting with Inari occurred during this time when Keiko, having followed Inari to a shrine, mistook Inari's brother, Touka, for an attacker and immediately kicked him in an attempt to protect her. This misunderstanding initially caused Inari to avoid her, but over time, they overcame the incident and developed a strong friendship.

Keiko's personality is defined by a direct, energetic, and strong-willed nature. She has a boyish and somewhat rough demeanor, often acting before thinking and expressing frustration with Inari's clumsiness. However, this brusque exterior hides a deeply protective and loyal character. In important or difficult moments, she consistently puts aside her irritation to support and encourage her friends. A practical quirk of her personality is that she is very sensitive to cold and wears black tights with her school uniform during winter.

Her primary motivation revolves around her friendships, which are the most significant aspect of her role in the story. She is an unwavering pillar of support for Inari, offering a grounded and protective presence in her life. Her key relationship is with Inari, whom she cares for tremendously, often showing her affection through actions rather than words. Another crucial relationship involves her friend Akemi Sumizome. Keiko experiences a growing confusion regarding her own romantic feelings toward Akemi. This internal conflict intensifies significantly when she accidentally overhears that Akemi reciprocates those feelings, leading to a period of emotional doubt and self-discovery as she determines how to respond.

Her character development is centered on this emotional journey. Moving beyond her straightforward and impulsive nature, Keiko is faced with the complex and uncertain territory of romantic feelings for a close friend, which adds depth to her otherwise boisterous personality. In terms of notable abilities, her background in karate makes her physically capable and gives her a decisive edge in confrontational situations, a trait that has been present since her childhood.
