Description
Luka Urushibara is a classmate of Shiina Mayuri and a close friend of Rintaro Okabe. Luka serves as a shrine maiden at Yanabayashi Shrine and is known for having a very feminine appearance and a delicate, emotional personality. Despite being biologically male in most world lines, Luka possesses a gentle and reserved nature that often leads to being mistaken for a girl. Luka is highly sensitive, shy, and tends to blush when expressing personal opinions. This bashfulness is coupled with a serious and earnest demeanor, which causes Luka to take what others say at face value, including the elaborate and fantastical claims made by Okabe regarding his mad scientist persona. Luka looks up to Okabe as a mentor figure and is often subjected to his whims, as well as being frequently encouraged by Mayuri to dress in feminine costumes, though Luka usually resists these requests.
In the film Steins;Gate The Movie - Load Region of Déjà Vu, Luka's role is primarily that of a supportive friend within the Future Gadget Laboratory group.
