Description
Hayato Kimata is a first-year student at Himaraya Third Technical High School and a member of the school's Glasses Club. Unlike the other members, Hayato does not have any vision problems; he wears glasses purely for aesthetic reasons. His visual acuity is 2.0 in both eyes, which is considered normal or better-than-average vision in the Japanese notation system. Because his glasses have no corrective function, he is considered a provisional member of the club rather than a full member.
Hayato is a bright and energetic boy who naturally seeks attention and acts as a mood-maker within the group. His persistent and somewhat pushy nature, however, is often perceived as annoying by the other club members.
