Mio Kisaki is a heroine from Walkure Romanze: Shōjo Kishi Monogatari. She is a second-year student at Winford Academy enrolled in the general studies course. Mio is the childhood friend of Takahiro Mizuno and lives near him. She has a gentle and sweet personality, easily getting along with those around her, though she can be somewhat careless. Her hobbies include collecting tea leaves and creating eraser stamps. Mio is skilled at housework, but her cooking is notoriously poor because she insists on adding unusual seasonings, often resulting in disastrous meals. Despite her ordinary background, she becomes drawn into the world of jousting after a misunderstanding leads Bertille Althusser to challenge her to a duel. Although Mio has no prior experience with horses or jousting, she possesses excellent dynamic vision and reflexes, allowing her to read opponents and execute counterattacks effectively. She enjoys watching jousting competitions and firmly believes that Takahiro will recover from his injury and return to the sport. Bertille gives her the nickname Miracle Knight. Over the course of the story, Mio develops from a complete novice into a surprisingly capable competitor, eventually placing second in the summer tournament. Her close relationship with Takahiro is a central part of her character, as she supports him while discovering her own potential. Mio undergoes significant growth, moving from a supportive onlooker to an active participant in the jousting arena, relying on her natural talents and determination.
