Description
Lisa Eostre is a first-year student at Winford Academy, enrolled in the Knight Department where jousting is the central discipline. She is widely regarded as a promising rookie, and no other first-year student is able to match her in skill. Despite her youthful appearance and small stature, she possesses considerable strength and determination, preferring to rely on her own abilities in competition.

Her background is marked by a significant personal loss. As a younger child, Lisa had a livelier and more outgoing personality, but the death of her beloved mother changed her. After witnessing her relatives argue and betray one another over the inheritance, she withdrew emotionally and became reserved. She carries a ring on a chain around her neck as a memento of her mother.

Lisa is asocial and blunt-spoken, often appearing taciturn and unfriendly. She struggles with socializing and tends to keep to herself. Her directness can come across as harsh, and she holds a strong belief that only winning matters in jousting, which leads to clashes with fellow student Akane Ryuzoji over their differing philosophies. However, beneath this exterior, she has a softer side that she shows only to a few. She is particularly close to Fiona Beckford, whom she met during the entrance exam, and she secretly keeps a stray kitten named Sasami in her dormitory. She also has a fondness for extremely spicy food, especially tacos, and is highly skilled at chess.

In the story, Lisa serves as a formidable rival and later an ally to the main characters. Her role involves challenging the protagonist and other knights through her exceptional jousting talent, while also gradually learning to open up to others. Her early belief that victory is the sole measure of a knight undergoes some development as she forms bonds with her peers. Her abilities on horseback and with the lance are outstanding for her age and experience, making her a rising star in the academy. She always fights independently and does not seek help from others, reflecting her determination and pride.
