Description
Gojirou Kajii is an elderly survivor residing in the abandoned ruins of Tokyo. Before the catastrophic meltdown at the Odaiba Nuclear Power Plant twenty years prior to the events of the story, he was a worker employed by Shinto Electric. He is the father of Ibuki Kajii.

In appearance, Gojirou is an old man with gray or white hair, black eyes, and a pointy nose. He wears square-rimmed glasses, a blue striped polo shirt with a small pocket on the upper right chest, beige pants, and dark brown leather shoes.

His personality presents a mix of traits. While he can be somewhat cocky, he is fundamentally a kind and intelligent individual. He demonstrates a caring nature towards the Coppelion, particularly Haruto Kurosawa, whom he assists with repairs at a power station. His love for his daughter, Ibuki, is a primary driving force; he takes great risks to bring her to a hospital and is deeply concerned about her suffering, expressing a desire not to repeat past mistakes. He is also shown to care about his fellow survivors and is happy to contribute to communal efforts, such as helping to repair an old train.

Gojirou plays a significant role as a survivor the Medic Unit encounters while he is trying to transport his daughter to Shibuya. His history as a former worker at the nuclear facility provides a connection to the disaster that shaped the setting. Throughout the story, he is portrayed as a helpful figure, working alongside others to repair vital infrastructure like the electric power station.

In terms of key relationships, his bond with his daughter Ibuki is paramount. He is shown to care for her babies as well, indicating a deep familial love. He also forms a cooperative relationship with Haruto Kurosawa; they help each other with repairs, and Gojirou is shown to be concerned for Haruto's well-being when the young Coppelion is shot while protecting him. Additionally, he cares for other survivors, including Foreman Kurobe and Gennai, and assists them with their work on an old train. Regarding his development, Gojirou acts as a representation of the previous generation that lived through the initial disaster, guiding and cooperating with the younger Coppelion agents while carrying the weight of his past experiences. No notable combat-oriented or otherwise exceptional physical abilities are detailed for him; his strengths lie in his knowledge from his past work and his practical skills in repairs.
