Description
Noriko Kurosawa is a minor but significant character in the visual novel Amagami and its anime adaptation Amagami SS+ Plus. She is the daughter of a city councilor, a detail that underlies much of her influence and actions. In the story lines focusing on Tsukasa Ayatsuji, Noriko emerges as an antagonist who actively works against Tsukasa. Her primary motivation is a deep-seated hostility toward Tsukasa, which drives her to use her father’s political connections to interfere with Tsukasa’s plans, notably by attempting to sabotage a Christmas party arrangement. Noriko also enters the student council presidential election as a direct rival to Tsukasa, a key plot point in the Tsukasa arc of Amagami SS+. To further her opposition, she appoints Junichi Tachibana as her own vice presidential candidate, intending to use him as a tool to create tension between him and Tsukasa. Her schemes escalate to a last‑ditch attempt to provoke jealousy by trying to kiss Junichi in front of Tsukasa, but the plan fails when Tsukasa sees through it. Noriko’s role is that of a persistent obstacle, yet she ultimately loses the election and her schemes are thwarted. Although her presence is largely confined to Tsukasa’s story, her actions highlight her manipulative nature and willingness to exploit her family’s influence. Noriko does not undergo significant personal development across the series; she remains defined by her rivalry with Tsukasa and her ultimate defeat. Her notable abilities stem from her political background and her capacity for calculated interference, making her a capable, if unsuccessful, adversary.
