During summer classes, Junichi mentions his parents are away helping an injured uncle, leaving him and his sister Miya to subsist on watermelon and noodles. Rihoko interprets this as a sign of heat fatigue and immediately volunteers to come to his house that evening to cook a proper meal. Junichi accepts the offer. While shopping for groceries, Rihoko encounters two former Tea Club senpai, Manaka and Ruriko, who now run a university food stall. They give her eel and lotus root, ingredients traditionally used to combat fatigue, and encourage her to use the opportunity to advance her relationship. As Rihoko walks toward Junichi’s home, a male classmate named Makabe intercepts her and asks her to follow him. Meanwhile, Junichi, waiting at home, steps outside to look for her and spots the two together from a distance. As a passing train obscures his view and drowns out sound, Rihoko appears to shout something toward him, but the train’s noise renders her words inaudible. Junichi stands watching as Makabe continues speaking with Rihoko, leaving the nature of her declaration and her immediate situation unresolved.

8Rihoko-hen: Dainishou
Rihoko Umehara attempts to make a bento for Junichi Tachibana. Her first bento contains burnt rice and unseasoned vegetables,so she throws it away. She tries again, but the rice remains undercooked and the side dishes lack flavor. She discards two more attempts before seeking advice. Ai Nanasaki recommends starting with simple recipes and focusing on one successful dish. Tsukasa Ayatsuji demonstrates how she organizes her tasks to avoid mistakes. Rihoko practices at home, carefully following instructions. After several days, she produces a bento with fluffy rice, properly cooked omelette, and neatly arranged pickles. On a Sunday before Christmas, Miya Tachibana leaves her brother Junichi at home to visit a new hot spring facility called Kihidai Land with Sae Nakata and Ai Nanasaki. The three girls arrive to find the other heroines—Tsukasa Ayatsuji, Rihoko Sakurai, Kaoru Tanamachi, and Haruka Morishima—already enjoying the variety of baths. The facility features whimsical amenities, including baths advertised for bust enhancement and a sauna promising rejuvenation. Ai makes a pointed visit to a ramen-themed bath, a direct reference to Junichi’s strange daydreams from her first-season arc.
