Shizuka Itō is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Tokyo, born on December 5, 1980. She is affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production and has been active in the voice acting industry since 2003. Her career has been marked by a wide range of leading and supporting roles in anime, as well as recognition for her performances.

Itō has received critical acclaim for her work, winning the award for Best Actress in Supporting Roles at the 10th Seiyu Awards. She was honored for her performances as Meiko Shiraki in Prison School and as Minako Aino/Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon Crystal.

She has built an extensive filmography across many popular series. Some of her most prominent and enduring roles include Akeno Himejima in High School DxD, Lenalee Lee in D.Gray-man, Kaori Kanzaki in A Certain Magical Index, and Hinagiku Katsura in Hayate the Combat Butler. She also voices the character Torture Tortura in the series Tis Time for "Torture," Princess. Her repertoire includes a variety of other characters, such as Cefiro in The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human, Princess Kaguya in SINoALICE Ichiban Saigo no Monogatari, Kabura Honda in Call of the Night, Michelle K. Davis in Terraformars: Chikyū-hen, and Tamami Rakow in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans – Urðr Hunt Special Edition.

In addition to her anime roles, Itō is active in dubbing foreign films and television series. A notable example is her role as the voice of Ahsoka Tano in the Japanese dub of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Throughout her career, Itō has frequently collaborated with fellow voice actress Hitomi Nabatame. The pair formed a voice acting unit called Hitoshizuku (ひとしずく), which is Japanese for "a single droplet". She has also worked alongside voice actor Jun Fukuyama on multiple projects.
