Description
Nana Bassler, once a street child, was forcibly taken into the 13th Special Military Forces School. Designated Test Subject No. 7, she became the sole survivor of the experimental "Aerial Ace Project." This granted her unique abilities but left her surgery incomplete, causing her count to decrease with every power usage. As the first created Baron, she earned the title "Insight Baron" (Ace of Conscious Strikes).

She possesses tan skin, silver hair with bangs covering her left eye, a prominent mole beneath that eye, and distinctive purple eyes. Her revealing attire includes an open white shirt exposing a black strapless bra, a skirt with a leg slit, gold bangles, and shackles attached to her belt. A fake count of 77 is displayed on her left breast, while her true count – tracking her remaining ability uses – resides under her left eye.

Nana balances kindness with sternness, carrying herself with dignity. She serves as a knowledgeable bartender in her mobile tavern, offering guidance while masking her tragic past. Her demeanor incorporates coy flirtation and an older-sister role, particularly towards Hina and Lynn.

Her primary ability involves limited time travel, allowing her to send individuals to specific historical points. Using this power exacts a cost, depleting her count and risking her descent into the Abyss. She employed it strategically, sending Hina, Jail, Lynn, and Pele 300 years into the past to alter Licht Bach’s fate and reveal Althea’s truths.

As a child within the Aerial Ace Project, Nana received a message from her future self instructing her to aid time travelers. She protected the young Jail Murdoch from military forces, disclosed critical information about the project and Licht’s role, and provided Jail with a memory card containing future revelations. She declined to escape with him, fearing drastic timeline changes, but secured his promise to reunite in their original era.

Over centuries, Nana recorded videos detailing her unrequited love for Licht, whom she escaped with post-war, evading capture for 300 years. She expressed guilt over wartime actions and hoped Hina could save Licht from despair. Despite her feelings, she recognized his inability to reciprocate romantically, leading her to focus on supporting his emotional recovery.

In the present timeline, Nana operated her mobile tavern alongside Licht and later Hina. She intervened when Licht harassed Hina, explained the count system governing Althea’s society, and uncovered Licht’s protective intent behind hiding Hina’s Ballot. Her tavern was destroyed by Jail’s forces during his pursuit of Licht, though she later reconciled with him.

Her relationship with Jail evolved from adversarial to romantic. After he protected her during conflicts with the Special Service and the emergence of the Abyss Demon, they developed mutual trust. Nana ultimately married Jail, becoming queen of Althea in the epilogue.
