Description
Maki Himekura, a third-year Seijoh Academy student and orchestra club member, hails from a prestigious lineage as the granddaughter of Superintendent Mitsukuni Himekura. Her striking appearance features long, wavy light brown hair—a legacy from her Irish mother—complemented by sharp facial features and a statuesque figure frequently remarked upon for its curves.

Entwined with her family’s legacy, she navigates a world shadowed by history, including a mountain villa shrine tied to an eighty-year-old tragedy involving Yuri, a doomed shrine maiden. Driven to unearth buried truths, Maki masterfully draws peers into reenactments of the past, revealing her calculated, manipulative edge.

Beneath her poised exterior simmers rebellion against the gilded cage of familial duty. Forced into social obligations and rigidly controlled by her grandfather, she schemes to dismantle expectations, refusing to remain a compliant “doll” in his ambitions. Her defiance fuels clandestine efforts to expose family secrets and reclaim autonomy.

In side narratives, she looms as the orchestra club’s enigmatic “Undine,” a spectral presence haunting its atelier. Interactions with figures like Konoha and Tooko showcase her tactical brilliance, leveraging intellect and resources to solve ancestral mysteries or carve paths to freedom.

Her arc paints a portrait of a strategist balancing societal shackles against a hunger for self-determination. Through art and heritage, she manipulates the threads of legacy and identity, challenging fate while unraveling the past’s grip on her future.
