Description
Beros is a demon who serves as an officer of the Demon World Acropolis Police, operating directly under the command of King Wolf and working alongside her partner and superior, Goyle. Her primary role within the police force is to maintain peace and order in the Demon World, a duty she carries out with a degree of confidence. In a departure from her law enforcement career, she is also the lead bassist for a band called Evil Potato.

In terms of personality, Beros is ill-mannered and more relaxed compared to her serious partner Goyle, often not taking things too seriously. Despite this laid-back attitude, she is known to hold grudges and can become stubborn, sometimes believing outlandish things she has read in manga as if they were facts applicable to real life. A recurring comedic trait is her habit of chewing bubble gum, which pops unexpectedly when she is startled or flustered, a moment she then wipes away with a napkin or handkerchief. Her relationship with Goyle has a hinted dynamic where, despite her tough appearance, she is implied to be the more submissive partner, a notion that easily flusters her when others make sarcastic remarks about it.

Beros appears in the story when she is sent by King Wolf on a minor, trumped-up mission to arrest the vampire Braz D. Blood. During this encounter, she gets along agreeably with Braz's sister, Liz, though she is not depicted as being overly kind. When Braz later escapes custody, Beros is found in a state suggesting she has been attacked, which sends Goyle into a vengeful rage, only for her to be revealed as unharmed. Her primary narrative function is tied to this mission, acting as a catalyst for the conflict between Goyle and Braz.

Beros possesses a few notable abilities. She has demonstrated enhanced speed, allowing her to move extremely fast. Her most significant power is her privilege magic, known as the Underdog Choker. This ability manifests as a curse that follows a target and places a dog collar around their neck, effectively sealing their magic. If the victim attempts to use any magical power, the choker inflicts severe pain as a deterrent. The magic is potent enough that a victim's attempt to heal themselves from the damage only feeds the curse, causing it to become more aggressive. She wears a spiked bracelet to cast this spell and a necklace with a key that can undo it.
