TV-Series
Description
Mimori Kishida is a 75th generation understudy in the idol group AKB0048, serving as a main character throughout the series. She is seventeen years old, stands 162 centimeters tall, and has long pink hair and pink eyes. Mimori is a voluptuous young woman who takes pride in her height and generous proportions, and she is known for unintentionally adopting sexy poses and drawing out the ends of her words in a sensual, almost lazy manner. Her favorite food is a particular kind of cherry that is not the Japanese variety, and she is fond of asking whether she is giving off pheromones.

Mimori’s motivation to remain with AKB0048 stems from a genuine love of singing and performing. While many of her fellow 75th generation trainees quit, she and Kanata Shinonome continued their training. When Kanata revealed she had only joined AKB0048 to fight against the DES, Mimori responded by singing to her, eventually breaking through to her friend and reaffirming her own commitment to the group. This moment highlights her gentle, supportive nature and her belief in the power of music.

In AKB0048 Next Stage, Mimori plays a crucial role during the revival of the successor system. She develops succession fever after rehearsing for the role of Mariko Shinoda the 8th, a position that had been vacant since Tsubasa left the group. Nagisa Motomiya temporarily stands in for her, but Mimori recovers and officially debuts as the successor, cutting her long hair to better fit the image. She later places tenth in the general election, solidifying her status as a recognized member.

Mimori’s key relationship is with Kanata Shinonome, whom she supports as a teammate and friend. She also interacts closely with the 77th generation trainees, assisting them during performances and helping to escort fans. Her development moves from a self-assured but humble understudy to a confident successor who embraces the legacy of Mariko Shinoda. As a performer, Mimori wields micsabers and commands the stage with her natural charisma and presence, using her abilities to connect with audiences and inspire those around her.
