Description
Himawari Shinomiya is one of the main characters of the anime Vividred Operation. A 15-year-old student, she possesses a genius-level intellect and a profound talent for technology, establishing herself as a super hacker with a particular love for computers and machinery. Her personality is best described as reclusive and introverted, a direct result of a painful event in her past where a friend betrayed her trust after Himawari attempted to help. This incident led her to develop a fear of people, causing her to stop attending school and withdraw into her room for a significant period. She has a neglected appearance, with her long, wavy brown hair often left to cover her face, and she does not pay much attention to fashion or her own clothing.
Despite her shy and initially weak-willed demeanor, Himawari possesses a strong inner core built around her passions. She is a great admirer of the scientist Kenjirou Isshiki and his work, which gives her a deep and immediate understanding of the Vivid System when she is first exposed to it. When Akane keeps her word, it restores Himawari's faith in others, granting her the ability to access the Vivid System and join the team as the fourth member. Her true strength is realized through a process called Docking, where she merges with Akane to become a powerful fused warrior known as Vivid Yellow. In this combined form, her weapon upgrades into the Vivid Collider, an octagonal shield with enhanced protective capabilities. This weapon can further transform into the Vivid Engine, a mechanism that gathers a massive amount of energy to unleash a devastating, focused beam called the Final Operation, capable of destroying an Alone in a single shot.
