Description
Kanda, whose full name is Miyuki Kanda, is a teacher at Kibou High School and serves as the homeroom teacher for the main characters Rei Ogami and Sakura Sakurakouji. Her public persona is that of a friendly but notably clumsy woman, often seen wearing a tracksuit and carrying the wrong class attendance book, a dojikko nature that has made her popular among her students. This appearance, however, is a carefully maintained facade.
Beneath her cheerful and scatterbrained exterior, Kanda is a highly skilled and serious agent for the secret organization Eden. Her true role is to assist the Code:Breakers, serving as a source of information, a liaison, and handling the aftermath of incidents involving supernatural powers. She is specifically assigned as the personal assistant and escort to Rei Ogami, whom she addresses with the formal title of Master. When operating as an agent, Kanda becomes cold, sharp, and efficient, a complete contrast to her schoolteacher act, though she retains a soft heart and is known to cry alone after difficult missions are over.
