Description
Miyuki Koshiki is a supporting character in the Little Busters! series. She comes from a family renowned for its archery tradition and was once considered a prodigy with exceptional skill in the sport. However, an illness caused her to lose her eyesight, forcing her to wear a white eyepatch over her right eye. This loss, combined with the intense expectations placed on her by her family, leaves her grappling with her sense of purpose and what she can do with herself. She is a student who keeps her dark lavender hair long and is often seen with a calm, reserved demeanor.

Miyuki's primary motivation revolves around finding a way forward after her eyesight failed her, as well as her concern for Kengo Miyazawa. She and Kengo share a similar family situation, both feeling the pressure of their households’ expectations, and she worries about him. This shared experience forms the foundation of their connection.

In the story, Miyuki appears as a friend of Kengo and a member of the archery club. Her role is tied to Kengo’s personal arc, particularly in the context of the virtual world built by Kyosuke. In reality, Miyuki committed suicide, and Kengo was unable to save her. Within the constructed world, however, her fate is altered as Kengo intervenes to protect her, symbolizing a chance to overcome the tragedy that originally befell her. This event contributes to Kengo’s own growth and the broader themes of friendship and redemption.

Her notable ability was her prodigious archery talent before her eyesight deteriorated, which highlights the contrast between her potential and the limitations imposed by her condition. She does not display any supernatural or combat abilities; her significance lies in her emotional and narrative impact rather than in physical prowess.

Throughout the series, Miyuki is a quiet but pivotal figure whose background underscores the harsh realities that the characters face, and her story serves as a catalyst for Kengo’s development and the exploration of grief and second chances.
