Description
Myuu Ōsawa is one of the main heroines of Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero. Her true name is Myuu, and she is the daughter of Galious, the Demon King of the parallel world of Alayzard. Because her mother was a Dark Elf, Myuu is a half-elf, a detail that shapes her heritage but is not a central plot point in the anime. After Akatsuki Ōsawa defeated her father in battle, the Demon King used his final words to entrust Myuu to Akatsuki, asking him to take care of her. Akatsuki brought her back to the human world, where she assumed the identity of his deceased younger sister, Miu Ōsawa, and enrolled as a student at the Japanese branch of Babel, an international training organization for individuals who have returned from other worlds.
In terms of personality, Myuu is gentle, polite, and kind-hearted, possessing a strong sense of justice and a desire to protect those she cares about. She is initially anxious and nervous about her true identity as the Demon King's daughter being discovered at Babel, but she tries to adapt to her new life. Despite her sweet and innocent demeanor, she also has a strong and quietly stubborn nature; she can become hostile toward Akatsuki when he aggravates her, yet she generally treats him fairly and respects the wishes of her late father. She uses the first-person pronoun "boku," which gives her speech a slightly boyish or assertive nuance in Japanese. Myuu is often flustered by Akatsuki's provocative behavior, but she remains loyal and earnest in her interactions with others.
Her primary motivation stems from her father's last wish for Akatsuki to take care of her, which she accepts and honors despite her sadness over her father's death. She wishes to live peacefully in the human world and to be accepted by those around her, and she is determined to protect her new friends and allies. Her desire to become stronger and to stand alongside Akatsuki drives much of her personal growth throughout the story.
In the story, Myuu serves as a central heroine and the primary female lead. She is the reason Akatsuki returned to the human world from Alayzard, and her presence connects the two worlds. As a student at Babel, she participates in the school's training and ranking battles, where she gradually develops her magical abilities. Her role often involves emotional support for Akatsuki and the other characters, as well as providing a moral anchor in the midst of conflicts.
Her key relationships include her bond with Akatsuki, who acts as her guardian and surrogate brother figure, though their dynamic is complicated by his flirtatious and sometimes perverse nature. Myuu also forms close friendships with her classmates, including Chikage Izumi and Kuzuha Doumoto, who become her first real friends in the human world. Her relationship with her late father, Galious, is also significant; she mourns his death but respects his sacrifice and his wish for her to have a new life.
Over the course of the narrative, Myuu grows from a timid and anxious girl into a more confident and capable young woman. She learns to harness her innate magical power and becomes more proactive in defending herself and others. Her character development is marked by her increasing willingness to stand up for her beliefs and to confront danger directly, rather than relying solely on Akatsuki's protection.
Myuu possesses a high level of magical skill. She is able to generate shield magic with little effort and can cast multiple spells from different elements simultaneously and in rapid succession. She favors air-type magic, which is visually represented by green magical circles. Her magical abilities are a natural inheritance from her lineage as the Demon King's daughter, and she continues to refine them through her training at Babel. Aside from her magical power, she is also physically characterized by her long, pink hair often worn in twin-tails and her green eyes.
