Shanti Chakraborty is a German actress and voice actress born on January 11, 1985, in the Palatinate region of Germany to a Bengali father and a German mother. She trained at the Schauspielschule Charlottenburg in Berlin, where she also took additional lessons in dance and singing. Her early performance experience included work in theater, musicals, and short films before appearing in the German cinema production Groupies bleiben nicht zum Frühstück.

Chakraborty has built an extensive career in voice acting, lending her voice to numerous characters in German-dubbed versions of international films, television series, and anime.
