Description
Mia Cyrus, operating under the magical girl designation "Just Cause Mia," serves as the American representative of the Magical Five, the survivors of the Distonian War against the extradimensional Disas race. She holds the rank of Sergeant Major within the U.S. military and is assigned to Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), working alongside intelligence agents Aaron and Julia. Her public magical girl identity distinguishes her from her peers.

A Texas native and combat specialist with extensive field experience, Mia wields magic centered on firearms manipulation. This includes enhancing weapon power, projecting magical bullets, and transforming her magical derringer into various gun types. Defensively, she employs barrier magic capable of generating triple-layer shields that divert impact energy. Perception manipulation magic obscures her identity from cameras and civilians. Her combat capabilities, rated at mountain-level tier, enable her to defeat Disas resistant to conventional weaponry like nuclear arms. She evades bullets with her speed and utilizes enhanced senses for environmental analysis and enemy detection.

Mia exhibits a self-confident and laid-back demeanor, creating recurring friction with her more intense Russian counterpart, Tamara Volkova, whom she nicknames "Rusky." Despite her relaxed attitude, she actively participates in global high-stakes counter-terrorism and anti-cartel operations, such as investigations into magical energy cubes containing compressed human remains in Mexico and Japan.

During the Distonian War, Mia developed a romantic relationship with her former commander, the French magical girl Chevalier Francine. This relationship persisted until Francine's apparent death in combat. Mia later confronted Francine as the resurrected leader of the terrorist Babel Brigade during the Battle of New York, ultimately killing her in a suicide attack to halt her plans.

Facing the resurgence of Disas-related threats, Mia expanded her role, collaborating with international forces like Japan's M-Squad. Her actions contributed to neutralizing the Babel Brigade and ending the renewed conflict, though at significant cost to both the Magical Five and civilian lives.
