Emily Neves is an American voice actress, ADR director, and script writer known for her extensive work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series and films. Born on July 29, 1982, she is a graduate of Texas State University. Before becoming a full-time voice actor, Neves was a resident actress at the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas, and in 2005, she was a contestant on the fourth season of American Idol, advancing to the Hollywood round.

Neves's career in anime voiceover began around 2007, and she has since become a prominent figure in the industry, frequently working with dubbing studios such as Funimation and Sentai Filmworks. Her body of work encompasses a wide variety of characters, showcasing her versatility across different genres. She has provided voices for protagonists, antagonists, and supporting characters in numerous popular series.

Among her most recognized roles are Kotomi Ichinose in Clannad, Kanade Angel Tachibana in Angel Beats, Minene Uryuu in Future Diary, and Ayase Shinomiya in Guilty Crown. She also voiced the title character in Himouto! Umaru-chan and took on the role of Chelsea in Akame ga Kill!. In more recent years, her credits include Sylphiette in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, Toriko Nishina in Otherside Picnic, Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX in Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, Ryoma Takebayashi in By the Grace of the Gods, and Eri in My Hero Academia. She also voiced Lilith in both The Demon Girl Next Door and Combatants Will Be Dispatched!. Neves portrayed Popuko in the surreal comedy Pop Team Epic and took on the role of Kumin Tsuyuri across the various Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions titles. Her film work includes the role of Setsuko in a redub of the classic film Grave of the Fireflies and Gine in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

In addition to her on-screen performances, Neves frequently works behind the scenes. She has served as a voice director for several series, including WataMote, Dog & Scissors, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, and Rozen Maiden Zurücksplen. She has also contributed as an ADR script writer, notably on Steins;Gate 0. Neves moved to New York City in 2015 and continues to be active in voice acting and production.
