Description
Ambitious Princess Soun Hojo is a version of the historical figure Hōjō Sōun who appears in the modern world as a high school student with notable telekinetic abilities and high combat skills. She also goes by the alias Shinkuro Isei. In her new environment, she initially becomes depressed upon realizing that the complexity of the contemporary world makes it nearly impossible for one person to rule the entire planet. This depression lifts when she enters high school at the suggestion of her friend's mother, and she quickly refocuses her considerable ambition on a more attainable goal: conquering the school itself.

Her personality is defined by this relentless drive and a willingness to confront challenges directly. She is proactive and decisive, choosing to battle a group she identifies as the Shadow Ruffian Alliance, which she believes is controlling the school. Her actions attract the attention of others who have also been transported to this world. This includes Kotaro Fuuma, who challenges her to a fight, and a masked figure who confronts her in the school gym. After a difficult struggle, Soun defeats the masked figure and discovers her true identity: Yoshimoto Imagawa, who is revealed to be Soun's long-lost master and former retainer from their original era.

This discovery is the turning point in her role within the story. Upon learning the identity of her adversary, Soun immediately shifts her allegiance, pledging her loyalty once more to Yoshimoto Imagawa. Her primary motivation evolves from conquering a high school to assisting her master in a far larger conflict, specifically to defeat Nobunaga Oda. This development shows that beneath her own ambition lies a deep-seated sense of loyalty and duty to her past, as she willingly becomes Yoshimoto's subordinate to face a common enemy.

Physically, Soun is depicted as a teenage girl with brown eyes and black hair, typically styled up. Her appearance is often associated with a maid's dress, complete with an apron, headdress, hair ribbons, and neck ribbon, and she carries a katana. Her notable abilities include her telekinetic powers, which make her a formidable fighter, as demonstrated when she defeats both Kotaro Fuuma and the water-manipulating Yoshimoto Imagawa in combat.
