Description
Patel Amanti, whose name appears in the series as Amanti Patel, is a supporting character in the anime Space Brothers. She is a female astronaut candidate from India who joins NASA's astronaut training program at the same time as the protagonist Mutta Nanba, and she first appears in episode 47. She has dark hair and typically wears a sari in her daily life.
She is a calm, perceptive, and dependable person who carries herself with quiet confidence among her training peers. She practices fortune-telling and has an intuitive precognitive ability that sometimes gives her glimpses of other people's futures, including details about their families and significant events in their lives. Her gift is portrayed more as a form of fortune-telling than as a precise supernatural power; it produces strong impressions rather than reliable control, and she is modest about its limits. When her team asked her to draw the starting-order lot for the rover competition because she seemed to have the strongest luck, she drew number six, a middling result, and openly apologized to the group for it.
