TV-Series
Description
Cosette Schneider, the youngest of three sisters, fled France with her family due to D2 attacks, relocating to America three years before the main events. She shared a close childhood bond with Takt Asahina, caring for him and nurturing his musical talent. During a Symphonica festival, she persuaded Takt to perform publicly, but the event was attacked by D2s. Fatally wounded protecting Takt, her Harmonia Crystal pendant activated, transforming her into the Musicart Destiny, embodying Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67 ("Symphony of Destiny").
This transformation caused significant physical and psychological changes. While retaining Cosette’s appearance, Destiny manifested red eyeliner-like markings, entirely blue eyes, and six stars around her left eye during power use. Her personality shifted dramatically: she became emotionally detached, speaking in a consistently calm, polite tone with no memory of her life as Cosette. She developed a sharp tongue, unconventional behavior, and a pronounced sweet tooth, especially favoring Anna’s Tarte Tatin. Her abilities included superhuman strength, durability, vibration detection, D2 sensing, and combat prowess using a transforming sword/sniper weapon. She switched between a non-combat "sleep mode" and an "armored mode" for battle. A critical vulnerability was unstable energy consumption, requiring massive calorie intake to avoid draining Takt’s life force during power use.
During their journey to New York, Destiny's relationship with Takt evolved. Initially focused solely on destroying D2s, she gradually revealed compassion, like procuring a piano to aid his composition. A pivotal moment occurred when a severely injured, delirious Takt mistook her for Cosette, triggering her first emotional reactions and deepening her loyalty. Later, in a climactic battle, she sacrificed her remaining life force to save Takt, transferring energy through a kiss. In her final moments, she verbally expressed love for him—her only smile—and vanished, leaving behind her Harmonia Crystal pendant.
The pendant enabled Anna Schneider to inherit the Destiny identity, becoming a new, stable vessel who retained her own personality fused with Destiny’s powers. While the original Destiny (Cosette) vanished forever, her legacy continued through Anna. In the mobile game "takt op. Symphony," Destiny (Cosette) appeared as a distinct entity during limited-time events, emphasizing her separation from Anna’s incarnation despite sharing the same musical score.
