Description
Jin is originally from the planet Altair, a world where all women have perished, leaving only a male population. He is notably referred to as the last son of Altair, being the final child born there before the extinction of its female inhabitants. Within the Altairian military, he serves directly under Izumo, acting as his second-in-command and a skilled strategist. His expertise lies in electronic warfare and careful planning; he is a calm and analytical individual whose quick thinking allows him to execute precise attacks and strategies, making him an excellent sharpshooter.

Despite his competence in combat simulations, where he remains undefeated, Jin possesses a critical weakness: his high pride makes him less adaptable to unexpected situations. This trait becomes particularly evident when he is assigned a long-term infiltration mission on the planet Vega. After being defeated in battle, he follows Izumo's orders to enroll in the Neo-DEAVA academy as a transfer student under the assumed name Akbarjin Batbayar, though his classmates quickly nickname him Jin. His mission is to identify and capture a potential Eve candidate and, if possible, steal an Aquarion Vector.

Jin’s initial experiences at the academy are defined by profound culture shock. Having lived his entire life on a planet with no women, he has no foundational knowledge of how to interact with them. His first impressions are deeply unsettling, as he observes female students engaging in behavior he finds aggressive, incomprehensible, and even terrifying, such as burying a male student alive or tearing off another's prosthetic hand. This leads to a genuine fear of women, which his peers misinterpret as shyness or awkwardness. He is socially isolated and his furtive attempts to gather information, such as searching for books on women in the library or accidentally wandering into the girls' changing room, only heighten suspicion towards him, particularly from the student Cayenne Suzushiro.

His path changes when he meets Yunoha Suroor, a shy transfer student with the power to turn invisible. Unlike others, Yunoha does not judge him and seems to understand his feelings of alienation, empathizing with his desire to be left alone. A bond forms between them, and during an altercation where Yunoha is nearly shot while defending him, Jin’s Element power, the power to isolate, awakens. He generates an energy barrier to protect her, a latent ability he had no prior knowledge of. This power allows him to sever the connection between spaces and phenomena, creating protective fields.

Jin's motivations become increasingly conflicted as he develops genuine feelings for Yunoha, whom he begins to believe is the True Eve his mission requires him to abduct. His loyalty to Altair and his duty to Izumo war with his growing emotional attachment to his new life and friends at the academy. This internal conflict reaches its peak when his cover is blown and a massive attack on the academy commences. Although he initially attempts to forcefully take Yunoha back to Altair, she convinces him to turn back and help his newfound comrades instead.

In a decisive act of betrayal, Jin returns to the battle and, alongside Cayenne, Zessica, and a Yunoha who is present in his Vector, forms Aquarion Gepard. Using his own power combined with Yunoha’s, they evolve the mech to unleash the Dimension Shutting Cannon, a devastating attack that severs and closes the dimensional gate providing power to the enemy. This act of defiance, however, invites the wrath of the enigmatic being Mykage, who appears within Jin's cockpit and inflicts a mortal wound on him. Jin dies moments later in Yunoha’s arms, his final moments being a heartfelt confession of love that plays from a recording on his communication device.

Following his death, Jin’s influence lingers. His sacrifice and the circumstances surrounding it deeply affect the other students and prompt a profound period of mourning, particularly for Yunoha, who struggles with her grief. His superior, Izumo, also mourns his loss and expresses regret over his fate. Jin's character arc is therefore a tragic one, following a skilled but emotionally stunted soldier whose mission to deceive led him to a genuine human connection, ultimately compelling him to abandon his world for the one he was sent to destroy, a choice that costs him his life.
