Description
Baby Bell, whose full name is Kaiser de Emperana Beelzebub IV, is the infant son of the Demon King Beelzebub III and Iris. Sent from the Demon World to the human world, his original purpose is to grow strong enough to destroy humanity. Shortly after arriving, he is discovered by the delinquent Tatsumi Oga and forms an unbreakable supernatural contract with him, becoming his adoptive human father.

In appearance, Baby Bell is a small, nude infant with green hair and green eyes, almost always seen with a yellow pacifier in his mouth. He has a strong aversion to wearing clothes and will actively try to remove any garments placed on him. His characteristic cry is Daabū.

Baby Bell's personality is a blend of infantile innocence and demonic nature. He is easily impressed by displays of strength, which is partly due to his own physical weakness when separated from Oga. As a baby, he is not very intelligent and often tries to solve problems through brute force. He displays a fondness for things that would frighten a normal baby, including violence, heavy metal music, and demonic toys, yet he is genuinely afraid of insects. Despite his demonic heritage, he is physically vulnerable and can lose fights against other babies or even cats without Oga's power. He can be shy around girls his own age, such as Futaba Kanzaki and Chiyo Aiba, and even shows embarrassment about his constant nudity in their presence, something that does not bother him otherwise.

His primary role in the story is that of the deuteragonist, with the entire plot revolving around his relationship with Oga. The contract between them is a core mechanic of the series; if they are separated by more than a certain distance, Oga will die. This distance, initially about fifteen meters, slowly increases as their bond strengthens. Baby Bell’s motivations are simple and childlike. He is deeply attached to Oga and often clings to his back or sits on his head. He seeks to grow stronger under Oga's unconventional guidance about what it means to be a man and a future Demon Lord. His primary goal evolves from a mission of destruction to one of bonding and growth with his human father.

The key relationship in Baby Bell's life is with Tatsumi Oga. While Oga initially tries to pass the baby off to someone stronger and more evil, he gradually accepts his role as a father figure, and a genuine familial affection develops between them. Baby Bell also has a dedicated demonic maid, Hilda, who serves him unconditionally and acts as a protective, motherly figure. He has an older brother named En, who is attention-seeking and annoyed by Baby Bell’s indifference towards him. He also forms a comedic rivalry with Kouta, the little brother of a classmate, Aoi Kunieda. Notably, he rarely, if ever, shocks Kunieda with his electric powers when he cries.

Throughout the series, Baby Bell shows significant development. He begins as a crybaby who frequently throws tantrums, unleashing powerful electric shocks on everyone nearby. Over time, influenced by Oga's teachings about bravery and strength, he cries less often and becomes noticeably braver, enduring bullying from other toddlers during a nursery school trial in order to make friends. This development shows that, despite his demonic origins, he is capable of learning and emotional growth like any human child.

Baby Bell possesses several notable abilities tied to his emotions and his bond with Oga. His most common power is electrocution; when he cries or throws a tantrum, he emits a powerful, destructive electric shock that can affect a wide area. This power is magnified when he is separated from Oga. His demonic power is normally dormant, but contact with Oga allows it to be unleashed, and both of their powers increase as they train together. This culminates in a technique called Super Milk Time, where Oga drinks Baby Bell's milk to greatly increase their synchronization ratio. This allows them to tap into immense power and even fuse their bodies and minds, though it is a time-limited ability with risks. A separate entity known as Black Baby Beel also exists, a powerful replica created by a training device that shares Baby Bell's personality but possesses even greater destructive capabilities, including flight and a more powerful electric scream.
