Description
Kaname Izuma is a senior at St. Ishiyama High School and serves as the leader of the Six Knights, known as the Rokkisei, a group of six captains from various sports clubs who enforce the school's rules. He holds considerable authority within the school, also acting as the student council president and the master of the Izuma dojo, being the sixteenth head of the Izuma-style martial arts. Izuma is a descendant of a demon who escaped to the human world. Having lost his place in a previous school for openly displaying his demonic powers, he was taken in by the headmaster of Ishiyama, which explains his unique position and influence even among the faculty.
Izuma's personality is defined by a striking duality, often oscillating between a calm and controlled demeanor and a pronounced thirst for death. This makes him a difficult character to read initially, as his composed exterior can suddenly give way to a desire for lethal combat.
