TV-Series
Description
Cecilia Alcott is a first-year student at the IS Academy and the IS Representative Candidate for England. Coming from the prestigious British aristocratic Alcott family, she is an heiress to a considerable fortune. Her life changed dramatically three years prior to the start of the series when her parents died in a train accident, leaving her the sole heir to the family estate. This event forced her to work diligently to protect her inheritance from those who sought to claim it.

Cecilia is a 15-year-old girl with a slender yet curvaceous figure, light blonde hair styled into distinctive drill-like ringlets, and light blue eyes. Her confidence in her appearance is matched by her pride in her noble heritage and abilities as a pilot.

Cecilia’s outward personality is defined by a high level of pride and arrogance, which stems from her status as a representative candidate. She initially displays a haughty and condescending attitude, believing her country and abilities to be superior. This is most famously demonstrated when she first meets the protagonist, Ichika Orimura, whom she dismissively refers to as commoner. Behind this confident and sometimes imperious exterior, however, lies a more complex individual. Her disdain for weak-willed men originates from watching her father, who she perceived as having little influence within the family and always yielding to her mother. This experience solidified her desire to find a strong partner. Despite her aristocratic demeanor, she is prone to vivid romantic daydreams about Ichika, often imagining scenarios of confessions or intimacy, which she finds embarrassing.

Her primary motivation throughout the series begins with upholding the honor of her family and country, but this quickly evolves into a romantic pursuit of Ichika. After losing a duel to him due to his unwavering determination, she develops genuine feelings for him and begins calling him Ichika-san instead of the demeaning commoner. She seeks to learn more about him and becomes fiercely competitive with the other female leads for his attention. This affection manifests as intense jealousy, occasionally leading to violent outbursts where she has been known to fire her IS weapons at Ichika when he is in compromising situations with other girls, though such attacks are often played for comedic effect.

In the story, Cecilia plays the role of the refined foreign rival who becomes a primary member of the protagonist's harem. She challenges Ichika to a duel for the position of class representative, which serves as the catalyst for their relationship. After this event, she becomes a close classmate and ally, frequently participating in IS combat exercises and missions alongside the other main characters. While she is an A-Rank pilot with top-notch skills, her overconfidence can sometimes be a weakness in battle. She is proficient in solo combat but initially lacks experience with group formations due to the nature of her IS, Blue Tears, which is designed for independent operations.

Cecilia’s key relationships are primarily with her fellow classmates. She has a notable rivalry with Lingyin Huang, which starts as open conflict but eventually develops into a friendship characterized by constant bickering and mutual concern. She shares a classically tense Franco-British dynamic with Charlotte Dunois, and she competes intensely with Houki Shinonono and Laura Bodewig for Ichika’s favor. Her personal life also involves her maid, Chelsea Blackett, who often teases her about her feelings for Ichika.

Cecilia undergoes noticeable character development, transitioning from a solely arrogant aristocrat to a more caring and collaborative individual. Her initial haughtiness softens as she accepts her peers and integrates into the group. One of her most famous and long-running development arcs concerns her cooking. Initially, her skills are disastrously poor; despite making food that looks exactly like the picture in a recipe, it is frequently inedible or dangerous due to her bizarre improvisations, such as adding perfume or using IS bits to cut ingredients. Over time, she dedicates herself to improving, swallowing her pride to learn from the other girls, and eventually succeeds in making a genuinely delicious meal for Ichika with proper guidance. This journey from a prideful noble to a girl willing to humble herself for love is a central part of her growth.

As an IS pilot, Cecilia controls the third-generation British unit, Blue Tears or Blue Tears. This machine is optimized for long-range and mid-range shooting combat. Its signature ability involves six remote-controlled bit drones known as Blue Tears; four are offensive floating cannons, and two are trajectory-guided missiles. For close-quarters defense, she carries a short knife. Her primary handheld weapon is a large-caliber laser rifle, the Starlight Mk III. In standby mode, her IS manifests as a small blue earring on her left ear. Her combat abilities are considerable; she is a skilled sniper capable of overwhelming opponents with firepower from multiple angles. She later learns to enhance her tactics by bending the trajectory of her laser beams. She is also proficient in traditional aristocratic pursuits like playing the violin and piano, as well as tennis, in which she won an academy tournament.
