Description
Aragon Simone, also known by her real name Pamela Watanabe, is a fifteen-year-old student at Southern Cross High School and a first-year classmate of the protagonist, Takuto Tsunashi. She is a French girl who works as a personal maid and assistant to the influential Kanako Watanabe, a role that places her at the center of the island's hidden conflicts. This position within Kanako's household is a facade for her true allegiance, as she is a member of the Glittering Crux Brigade, an organization that seeks to break the seals of ancient giant robots known as Cybodies. Within the Brigade, she belongs to the unit called Adult Bank and operates under the alias Secretary, piloting the Cybody named Daletos.

Simone presents herself as a composed, devoted, and efficient aide, diligently managing Kanako's daily needs and even acting as an interpreter when necessary. However, this outward professionalism masks a deep-seated and barely concealed contempt for her mistress. This animosity stems from a complex family history. Simone is the daughter of Kanako's husband, Leon Watanabe, and his former secretary, Mélisande Aragon, making Kanako her stepmother. Raised for a long time without knowing her father, Simone learned of his existence from her sister, Mylène, and grew to resent Kanako for taking him away. Driven by a desire for revenge, she adopted the alias Simone Aragon to infiltrate Kanako's inner circle and work against her from within.

Despite her quest for vengeance, Simone's motivations are not purely malicious. A crucial turning point in her understanding comes when she discovers that Kanako was aware of her true identity all along and had even saved Simone's life following a car accident. This revelation significantly complicates her feelings, leading to a partial reconciliation. While she maintains a front of dislike towards Kanako, she begins to hint at a more nuanced, if still strained, relationship between them, even implying a certain closeness to Takuto.

Her personal connections heavily influence her actions throughout the story. She has a notable relationship with her fellow Adult Bank member and servant, Takashi Dai, for whom she is hinted to have romantic feelings. Her desire to help Takashi is a primary motivator; she persuades him to challenge Takuto, hoping that if he defeats the protagonist, he will become the leader of the Glittering Crux Brigade and, by extension, become Kanako's superior. This scheme demonstrates how her personal vendetta and affections are intertwined with the larger conflicts on the island. Additionally, after a conversation with the protagonist, Takuto appears to charm her, leading her to develop new feelings for him while also humorously noting his ability to attract many girls.

As a Star Driver, Simone pilots the Cybody Daletos, the fourth hidden Cybody on Southern Cross Island. Daletos has a noticeably feminine appearance with a fluorescent green and black color scheme. In combat, she demonstrates notable abilities, particularly when working in tandem with Takashi. In one strategic plan, Simone would activate the Apprivoise (the process of piloting a Cybody) but allow Takashi, who possesses a true Star Driver's mark and Star Sword, to control Daletos's movements. She would then focus all of her libido, the energy source for the Cybodies, into powering his Star Sword, Amethyst. This double-piloting technique allowed them to match the immense power of the protagonist's Cybody, Tauburn. When piloting Daletos on her own, she has shown the ability to create a powerful defensive barrier, similar to those used by Maiden Cybodies, which she once used to protect Takashi from an enemy attack.

Simone experiences significant personal development as the story unfolds. She begins as a young woman driven by a secret plan for revenge based on a fractured family history. Learning the truth about Kanako's actions forces her to re-evaluate her worldview and her enemy. This leads to a grudging reconciliation and a shift in her role from a hidden avenger to a more straightforward, if still complex, ally. Her motivations evolve from pure vengeance to a mix of protecting those she cares about, like Takashi, and navigating her newfound feelings for Takuto, ultimately showing a character capable of growth and forgiveness.
