Description
Kotomi Tsuda is the younger sister of Takatoshi Tsuda, the vice president of Ousai Academy’s student council. She follows her brother to the same school chiefly because of its proximity to their home, enrolling as a first‑year student. Outwardly, Kotomi is bright, cheerful, and naturally charming; she forms friendships with remarkable ease and is well liked by classmates and older students alike. Her personality, however, carries the unmistakable stamp of Ousai’s eccentric culture. She possesses a boldly perverted sense of humor that frequently outdoes even the student council members in bluntness, and she delivers lewd remarks with a carefree directness that unsettles her brother.

In terms of motivation, Kotomi is not driven by grand ambitions. She approaches high school as a space to socialize, tease her brother, and simply be herself. She is genuinely fond of Takatoshi, whom she affectionately calls “Taka‑nii,” and she takes pleasure in prodding him about his relationships with the council girls. Despite her provocative jokes, she is considerate and warm toward those she cares about. Academically, she is unashamedly lazy and regularly relies on Takatoshi or her close friend Suzu Hagimura to help her scrape by.

Her role in the story evolves from an irregular visitor to a near‑regular presence. Early on she appears when student council members visit the Tsuda household, but once she enters Ousai she integrates into the school’s comedic ecosystem. She becomes a member of the wider circle of eccentric personalities and often appears alongside the main cast, adding to the barrage of gag humor.

Kotomi’s most important relationship is naturally with her older brother. She loves to fluster him, but underneath the teasing there is a clear sibling bond. She also develops a notably close friendship with Suzu Hagimura, the prodigious but height‑sensitive student council treasurer, with whom she shares study sessions and a mutual understanding. Beyond Suzu, she gets along excellently with student council president Shino Amakusa because they share the same unabashed enthusiasm for risqué wordplay and situations, a chemistry that gives Takatoshi constant headaches. She is also friendly with other students such as Mutsumi Mitsuba, illustrating her broad social reach.

Her development is subtle but present. Kotomi transitions from a middle‑school younger sister to a confident high‑schooler who has found a social circle that fully accepts her unfiltered personality. Where other characters might struggle to fit in, she slots effortlessly into Ousai’s unique atmosphere and even thrives, her bluntness never hindering her popularity.

Notable abilities center entirely on her social gifts. She can disarm a room with a cheerful smile and win over almost anyone quickly, to the point that Suzu once remarked she could become an idol. Her sharp, direct comedic timing acts as a kind of verbal ability, allowing her to hold her own in any conversation, no matter how absurd the topic becomes.
